E-Seal — Document signing in the name of a legal entity; corporate authentication for invoices, contracts and official correspondence.

KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) — A legally valid electronic correspondence address with evidentiary force.

Timestamp — Proof that a document existed at a given moment; the layer required for long-term validation (LTV) archiving.

What is the difference between a qualified electronic signature (QES) and an ordinary e-signature? Only a qualified electronic signature produces the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under Article 5 of Law No. 5070. Simple or advanced signatures do not have this equivalence.

How quickly is a corporate e-signature delivered? Once the application and identity verification are complete, certificate production is fast; for multi-user corporate requests we fix the timetable at the outset.

Can a bill of lading be endorsed with an electronic signature? No. Article 5/2 of Law No. 5070 excludes negotiable instruments from the scope of electronic signature. We track this distinction on our Türkiye eBL Legal Status Tracker.
